The idea of "Practical Flanders" is to gather a community of people who have moved to Flanders and who would like to share their experience and opinions, or ask practical questions. Everybody is welcome to this forum, regardless of origin, ethnicity, religious and political beliefs, or sexual orientation. In order to make everybody really feel welcome, the following rules must be followed:

• The use of abusive or offensive language is absolutely forbidden. The first time a user breaks this rule, he/she will be given a warning, the second time he/she will be banned for one month and the third time the ban will be permanent
  

• This is a forum aimed at a general audience. Posting pornographic or generally offensive text, images, links, etc. will not be tolerated and will lead to a warning.
  

• Everybody can report an abusive of offensive language to the administrator.
  

Additionally, there are some practical rules to be followed:

• Everybody must read the About/Disclaimer post before posting
  

• Everybody must read thess rules before posting
  

• Before posting, please check if the same or similar topic exists already. This way we avoid having duplicates.
  

• Make the title of your post as specific as possible. For instance instead of writing "Medical help question" write "Looking for dentist in Antwerpen.
  

• Make sure to place the topic in the right forum.
  

• You are kindly asked to only post in English. If you think that a separate section is needed for another language, you are welcome to contact the administrator.
  

• If you think that the forum any other sections, you are welcome to contact the administrator.
  

• Spam is not tolerated. This includes posts whose main purpose is to promote a paid service or product.
